Dr. Katarina Nalovic (Formerly Dr. Chiller)
Dr. Katarina Nalovic (formerly Dr. Chiller) was born in Cameroon, West Africa and grew up in French Guyana, South America, with her French father and American mother. Dr. Nalovic is fluent in French, Spanish and English.
Dr. Nalovic arrived in the United Sates during her teenage years and has lived in several states throughout the United States, including Florida, New York and California. She now resides in Georgia with her two daughters and one son.

Fellowship–Trained Mohs Surgeon
There is no substitute for additional formal training under the guidance of a mentor. Experience is the true education for any surgical specialty as has been demonstrated with other surgical specialties such as cardiac surgery, urology and gastrointestinal surgery.
Mohs micrographic surgery involves an additional one to two years of training after residency. The Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship match is coordinated through the San Francisco Matching Program (SF Match) along with 11 other specialty fellowship matches, including craniofacial surgery, facial plastic surgery, neurosurgery, ophthalmology and pediatric otolaryngology.
There are approximately 49 training programs that offer Mohs micrographic surgery training in the United States. There are 32 fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons in Georgia.
Not only is Dr. Nalovic one of these 32 surgeons in Georgia, she is also a Trainer and Instructor for new fellows in training.
The American College of Mohs Surgery sponsors the fellowship-matching process. There is no alternative route of formal training for this specialty. Training in Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery cannot be mastered during short training periods such as preceptorship or residency and is best learned in a Mohs surgery fellowship.
